Kathy joined Pip Care in April of 2022. As CEO, Kathy’s role is to listen to the amazing Pip team, health system partners, and patients to ensure that she is facilitating the best environment for everyone to be successful. Prior to joining Pip, Kathy worked in several healthcare environments from large integrated systems to healthcare startups – creating great access to healthcare, focusing on removing burden from providers, and offering a great experience for patients.
What is the most unique part of working at Pip Care?
One of the most unique parts about working at Pip Care is having the privilege to partner with health systems and their patients to optimize and personalize the surgical journey. Each day, I am in awe of the ideas our team and partners put into action to improve patient outcomes and ease the burden for providers and physicians.
What do you consider one of the biggest challenges in healthcare?
One of the biggest challenges that we face today is democratized access to healthcare.
What’s a piece of advice that you’d give to other leaders in the healthcare space?
Ideas are great; however, action creates true change.
What is one the biggest lessons that you’ve learned in your career so far?
Be open to new ideas – and listen more than you speak.
